Booking Private Parties
PARTIES
- Any Full or Annual
member in good standing may reserve the pavilion for parties.
- All parties must be
scheduled at least two 7 days in advance by filling out this
request
form. A non-refundable $25.00 reservation fee must be paid to
secure your date and time for a party. Checks must be made payable
to Woods of Parkview and returned to Konnie Torbahn with this completed
form. Confirmation will be e-mailed to you after payment is received
and your event will be added to the schedule. You may check our web
site to check availability and confirm dates.
- Party host shall have
this completed form and check to Konnie Torbahn of WOPHA at least
7 days prior to the event to arrange for
additional lifeguards at a cost of $20.00 per hour per lifeguard above
and beyond the lifeguard already on duty during regular pool hours. The
number of lifeguards required is as follows:
- For 0-20 invited
guests: 1 additional lifeguard;
- For 21 – 40 invited
guests: 2 additional life guards; and
- For 40+ guests: 3
additional lifeguards.
- The number of invited
guests includes all party guests regardless of whether they will be
swimming or not.
- Parties of less than 25
invited guests, including parents and siblings, may be scheduled on any
day of the week.
- Parties with 25 or more
invited guests, including parents and siblings, must be scheduled between
Monday and Friday or 6:00 p.m. or later on Saturday or Sunday.
- A party of more than 50
invited guests, including parents or siblings, requires approval by the
President of the WOPHA.
- If more than one (1)
party is scheduled for a single day, there must be a minimum of one (1)
unscheduled hour between the end of the first party and the beginning of
the next party.
- Any party has a maximum
time limit of three (3) hours during pool hours.
- The member holding the
party shall identify themselves to the lifeguard before the party begins.
- A lifeguard must be on
duty at the pool throughout all parties whether or not any pool activities
are planned.
- Parties must end by 9:00
p.m. Exceptions will require permission of the President of the WOPHA. No
party can end later than midnight.
- Guests must leave at the
end of the party.
- The member who held the
party is responsible for the clean up of all food and/or trash. The
pavilion tables and deck area must be left clean. Additional guard
hours will be billed for any lifeguard time spent cleaning up.
- All clean up and removal
of party supplies shall be finished by the end of the scheduled party
time.
- The WOPHA may reserve
the pool during normal operation hours for functions such as swim meets or
social events. The date and time of these closings will be posted in
advance.
- Parties after normal
pool hours must adhere to reasonable music / noise levels.
